The Tonne Logo

The Tonne Method is a progressive Pilates approach with a science-based structure.

Sessions move through three distinct phases—The Base, The Build, The Burn—that strategically increase intensity to challenge your body in a way traditional mat Pilates does not.

It’s not just a harder mat Pilates class, it’s a smarter one. Layering in pulses, holds, props, and weights without purpose makes it harder to achieve real results.

Our signature sequencing activates, strengthens, and sculpts muscles with intention, delivering that post-workout high without depleting your energy levels.

01

The Base

More than a warm-up

Begin with calisthenic, equipment-free movements that activate key muscle groups while reinforcing core Pilates principles—alignment, breath, and deep muscular engagement. This foundation builds the control and stability needed for lasting sculpting results.

02

The Build

Where strength takes shape

Layer in intensity with full-range exercises using resistance tools, such as ankle weights and stability balls. This phase fires up both fast- and slow-twitch muscle fibers to develop deeper strength and mind-muscle connection. It builds on the foundation of The Base to create lasting strength—not just temporary burnout.

03

The Burn

Breathe through the burn

Finish strong with precise, sculpting movements that push your muscles to their limit. This final layer targets the smallest, most sculptable muscles through high-rep pulses, static holds, and deep time under tension—tightening and reigniting to carve lasting definition.

The Results

Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, private one-on-one and intimate group sessions help you improve your practice, your way. Staying true to the precision and control that define mat Pilates, our bespoke approach means you’ll get unique adjustments and personal cues throughout. You focus on conditioning your body and mind; we’ve got your form.

No plateaus, no overtraining. When every rep is intentional and each exercise builds on the last, you achieve a physique that’s toned, sculpted, and sustainable.
